♥WHEN YOUR MIL (mother-in-law) IS A CHEF, YOU EITHER GET NERVOUS OR GET COOKING.♥

♥Here’s what she had to say.♥
Hi ladies,
The other night, I tried making fish en papillote for my boyfriend and me. I hadn’t planned on making it, but we saw that halibut was on sale at the grocery store, and I remembered your recipe. I’m a pretty absent-minded cook, so a recipe has to be pretty simple if I’m not going to mess it up, but a lot of simple recipes are pretty unimpressive. Not this one, though! Opening the packets is so dramatic, and it lets out this amazing smell of all of the herbs. And then it tastes great too! We forgot to buy lemons, so I used lemon juice that my boyfriend had on hand. I also used rosemary as the main herb. We served it with a bunch of sauteed veggies and collard greens. This is definitely something I’ll make again.
Julia
PS: Apologies for the poor quality iPhone photos, but my boyfriend wanted to eat it as soon as we opened the packets, so I didn’t even have time to get my camera!
♥And here’s her attempt.♥

♥Thanks, Julia.♥
Are you kidding? We love iPhone photos. And we love that you attempted MIL’s Mission #21 Fish En Papillote! And does it go without saying that your boyfriend is a very lucky guy to have a lady who can cook? Well, he is. Thanks for sending us your attempt!
